Bitty Owls

Hi All!

I saw this inexpensive owl die set and decided I needed it. 🙂 These owls are so adorable – you have two sets of eyes to choose from, and you can reposition their wings. I will tell you that these owls are definitely bitty – they are 1″ high, as compared to the Stampin Up! owl at 1 1/2″ high.

The first version of this card I created with a white background. I show this other card at the end of the video. The look is surprisingly different – light blue is much more pleasing to the eye.

Love those cute little owls for a change instead of always using the owl punch (can’t believe I actually said this). This would be a great card to give to a child too.

Darlene, when you were about to stamp the planks without taking your tape off the stamp, I just kept thinking, “NOOOO, Darlene!!!!!” LOL I’m so glad you realized that before you stamped–that can be so frustrating! I also think this card looks better with the Soft Sky. It just helps with the overall feel, since it DOES look like sky behind the owls. I wonder how a small row of bushes along the bottom would look? Anyway, really cute card, & I love those little owls. Thanks for sharing! 🙂 ~ Andrea

Just such a cute happy card, I appreciate the pops of colour against the background so it’s very eye catching. Just thinking it could also be individualised with a name instead.so there are many options with this I can see.

Aww!! these little owls are so adorable, love how you wrote the word HAPPY on their little bellies.
I love my Owl Builder Punch, it’s always my go to punch for kids cards but this little die set is also super cute.
