Birthday Chicks

Birthday Chicks

Hi All!

I’m getting another bird card in before the challenge is over. I love these cute little Birthday Chicks. There are so many different chicks in the set – you can stack them up too, which would be super cute.

I used my Copic markers to color them. I’ve been using my Copics a lot lately! Here is a close-up:

In the video I referenced the Copic Marker section of the My Favorite Things page, which has lots of good information.

Enjoy the video and have a great weekend!

Oh yah! I was hoping you’d use this new stamp set of yours for one of your cards soon because I’ve also bought the set and was waiting to see your design to CASE. I really do like your card and can hardly wait to make it, So cute! I also like how you did the bird feet and pom poms on the hats as I hardly ever get the dies and prefer to fussy cut the images when required. Hope you have a good weekend.

Cute card! I have an older stamp set that is very similar. I might try it to CASE yours.

Adorable! Also, thank you for taking the time to compile a list of your favorite Copic combos. I have a crazy collection of three different brands of alcohol markers and I need some better combos, so I will for sure be checking out your faves!

This card is adorable! I am not a good fussy cutter so I have a lot of dies! thanks for the tip about the feet and hats! 😎

Love this–especially the chick “walking” around the window! Just so cute! I started out always getting coordinating dies with stamp sets, until I realized how expensive that can get–not to mention needing a bit more storage space, even keeping the dies in the same pocket with the stamp set. Now I consider the stamps in the set. If there’s not a lot of intricate detail or some special feature of the dies (like it cuts out an inner part of the image), I generally will just forego the dies and fussy-cut. Otherwise, dies it is! I at least FEEL responsible & frugal now. LOL Anyhoo, hope you have a great weekend as well, Darlene! 😺 ~ Andrea
