Hi All,

Of course, the Move Me Bundle was the first Stampin’ Up! product I decided to use. I was surprised by several things: (1) the animation is very easy to create, (2) the stamp set has a lot of little detail pieces that are very useful, and (3) the die set is very versatile – there are many pieces I can use to make other non-animation cards. That being said, I felt better about spending the money for this fairly expensive set.

If you haven’t seen the animation in action, you need to watch the video because photos just don’t do it justice. Here is the slider being pulled up:

And a close-up of my flower decor on the front:

I really like this color combination: Rich Razzleberry, Soft Sky, Daffodil Delight, and Tangerine Tango.

Enjoy the video!

Thanks Darlene for showing us how you made the Stampin Up animation card. It was very effective. And even though it is fairly expensive to buy in the US at US$49.50, it is still a justifiable purchase. However, as it costs AU$84.50 in Australia or almost double the price, I’ve decided to make my own grid sheet even though it is much easier to make with the Stampin Up grid sheet die. I liked how you took us through the entire process step by step. This will be very helpful when I try to make a similar card.

Connie, Lindsay the Frugal Crafter on YouTube just had a video that shows how you can cut your own screen, no die required. A bit labor-intensive, but you can use pretty much any solid (or at least solid-ish) stamp for your image. Anyway, no offense to Stampin’ Up or Darlene, but just thought you might be interested, since the cost is so high for you. Just go on YouTube & search her channel. Hope this helps! 🙂 ~ Andrea

Hi Andrea! I also saw this YouTube and that’s what I intend to do because I have the stamp set she used too! Thanks for thinking of me and others Down Under. If you guys think SU is getting expensive, just remember that it costs us about twice as much as you alll per item. I fear they’re pricing themselves right out of the market with all the great options available. And I do so love Stampin Up!

Yup and $63.75 in Canada! I don’t know why the price is so much higher for the same product!

Hey Carol – just remember that $63.75 isn’t as bad at $84.50! They say it is to cover rate of exchange but that’s a lot more than the Australian rate of exchange with the USA has been in a very long time!!! So that one doesn’t wash!

Very cool card Darlene!! I do love the way it seems like the birds wings are flapping. Can’t wait to see what else you do with this set. Hugs, Brenda

Great card, Darlene! LOVE your color palette!!! I really wish Stampin’ Up would come out with just the animation die as a stand-alone, though. Like I just told Connie, I learned you can use pretty much any solid stamp to achieve the desired results. Anyway, you did a wonderful job on your creation. I personally would rather put in a top stopper, though. I think, if the recipient can’t figure out how the image “moves,” the magic continues! LOL But that’s just me. Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us! 🙂 ~ Andrea

I saw this animation at the CHA this year (video) and thought it was pretty cool. I didn’t realize that SU had it and I think I like theirs better than what I saw on youtube from the CHA. Great card, can’t wait to see what else you do with this set!😎

Loved, loved this card, Darlene! Thanks so much for showing us how it can work. I have to say, I wish I would have continued with SU products several years ago instead of buying inks and papers hit-or-miss style. I love how you coordinate inks and papers and it’s exactly how I like it. I need to find another consultant…there was a wonderful consultant in my town but she moved. Anyway, thanks again!

Fabulous and beautiful card as always Darlene, love the bright, happy colors you chose. This bundle and the one with the butterfly are indeed very unique and the effect of motion is super cool but, I must say it, the price is way to high for a lot of us.
Thank you for this fun video, as always, I enjoy watching you in action.

I had my cart full of other items until I saw you ordered this and switched to buying this. I cannot wait to play with this set. I think it’s got that wow factor recipients love. Kids will really be impressed. I’ve seen a couple other YouTubes using it already, but if course yours is super amazing and the best. 😉

I love this card but like Connie and others I cannot justify the cost as I would not get to use it very often. I will investigate the alternative way of making it and maybe give that a go. I love your colours and, of course!!! you made an amazing and interesting video as usual. Thanks Darlene.

This is a super cool creation! You did a fabulous job with this card as always, and the stamp set is just so wonderful! I would’ve never imagined this could be done with just stamps and dies! 😉

I LOVE hummingbirds! You’ve definitely got me convinced on this stamp set, Darlene! I love what you’ve done with this card. Thanks for sharing!
